Job summary

The AI/ML Engineer will work directly on building Colabe’s autonomous intelligence (Cortex), working with language models, embeddings, recommendation engines, data analysis, and intelligent automations that connect businesses to cutting-edge AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and integrate AI/ML models across different parts of the platform
• Work with embeddings, semantic search, and indexes (e.g., OpenSearch, vector, etc.)
• Build data pipelines to feed the AI with events, context, and history
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to define autonomous AI use cases
• Help optimize cost, latency, and quality of models in production

Requirements

• Practical experience with Machine Learning or Data Science applied to product
• Knowledge of Python or another typical ML language
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, etc.)
• Understanding of data architecture and pipelines

Nice to have

• Previous experience with recommendation systems, personalization, or intelligent planning
• Knowledge of multilingual AI or global applications
