Job summary
The SDR (Sales Development Representative) will be responsible for initiating relationships with potential customers, performing active prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling demos for the Sales Executive. This role feeds the sales funnel with warm leads and ensures a steady pace of the sales operation.
Responsibilities
- Actively prospect new customers via email, phone, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn
- Research and map companies with a profile to adopt AI in their operations
- Qualify leads according to Colabe’s ICP (ideal customer profile)
- Briefly present Colabe’s value proposition and spark initial interest
- Schedule meetings and demos for the Sales Executive
- Keep CRM updated with all interactions and lead statuses
- Perform consistent follow-ups at different funnel stages
Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication
- Organization and discipline to maintain a daily prospecting routine
- Familiarity with CRM and sales automation tools
- Sales-oriented profile with resilience and ability to handle objections
Nice to have
- Previous experience as SDR, BDR, or in inside sales
- Knowledge of the SaaS or technology market
