Job summary
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and evolving Colabe’s technology foundation, focusing on a 100% serverless architecture on AWS. You will work on APIs, backend services, integrations, and scalable solutions that power the AI ecosystem for businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend APIs and services in Node.js/TypeScript
- Work with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, OpenSearch, etc.)
- Implement internal integrations and third-party systems (payments, partners, etc.)
- Ensure engineering best practices: testing, logging, observability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with AI, Product, and Operations teams on new features and improvements
- Participate in architecture discussions and strategic technical decisions
Requirements
- Solid experience with backend development in Node.js and TypeScript
- Practical knowledge of AWS services, especially serverless architecture
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB or similar)
- Knowledge of Git, basic CI/CD pipelines, and versioning best practices
Nice to have
- Experience with OpenSearch or search engines
- Background in high-growth startups or global products
